🌴 Vacation

As (full time) Checkly team member you will have 27 days paid vacation per year, which you can request in Humaans (or in Slack with the /humaans book command).

Get your request approved in Humaans. No vacation if there is no approval. For example: if there are only 2 Product Managers, they cannot go on vacation at the same time. You can check this in Humaans or by asking the other person.
We track your vacation days because we want to make sure everyone takes enough vacation.
You can carry over max 5 days from one calendar year to the next. If you don't book them for this year, they will automatically be added to next year's allowance.

The holidays of your country are assigned as days off by default!

From 2023, you can also opt in to flexible public holidays.

🤒 Sick, late, dentist?

🤒 Paid sick leave

Send a message in our #office Slack channel and @-mention your manager the moment you know you are going to be late, sick or have a dentist (or similar) appointment.
If you need to take sick leave, it's your responsibility to also immediately add the sick leave to Humaans. You can also ask your supervisor to help you with this. You can now also do this directly from Slack using the /humaans book command.
