We provide a budget of USD 3,200 (excl. tax) to fund infrastructure for new team members. As always, please be reasonable and spend the budget on things that you need. It's ok If you want to delay the orders till later in case you have gear already. We are flexible, and the budget stays. You can always order additional gear later if you do not need it right now.

Approvals will be through Morgan via Spendesk when you request the amount for your tech. Reimbursement is a possibility if Spendesk does not work for you.

<aside> 📣 Disclaimer: a laptop bought with this budget is a company laptop. This means that:

• We need to install the company's mobile device management solution (MDM) on it. (We allow personal use of your company device. You just have to be ok with us installing MDM on it.)
• Upon offboarding, the laptop needs to be wiped, and you can either buy it (at current market value, which we check on eBay) or return it to the company.

💳 How to order your laptop

About a month before your start date, you’ll get an email from Checkly about getting you a company laptop. If you choose to get one, here’s the step-by-step guide:

1️⃣ Confirm that you’ll already purchase an email.

Then we’ll set up your Spendesk account and Checkly Google account. Spendesk is our business spending management platform through which we can provide you with virtual credit cards.
